Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at Etrailer.com today. We're taking a look at the replacement spring assembly. This is going to be for the buyers products easy gate tailgate assist. And basically that just makes it a lot easier to lift our tailgate on our open landscape trailer so that we're not having to lift that whole weight all by ourselves. It's going to make that a one-handed operation rather than a two hand or even two man operation to lift that tailgate.Now, this is going to be pretty much the entire internal mechanism.

We'll have our spring, the quick link, and eye bolt, as well as the cable and chain and the other quick link on the other side. So if you needed only one of those components, it does come as a complete set here, so you'll have a completely new internal workings to make sure that everything's working properly.As far as the overall size, just for reference, our spring is about 28 inches long going from the edge here where that coil ends to the other side. The coily part itself is about 25 inches long, and our cable going from the end of the loop to the same point on the other side is about 58 inches long. The length of chain is about nine inches long. Again, this goes with part number 3-3-7-5-2-0-1-0-0-0; the easy gate tailgate assist.
